Volcano erupts lost home Mike Kyser
Donation protected
On Sunday May 27th Mike Kyser lost his home to lava. Three weeks ago, virtually without warning the volcano erupted less than 300 feet from his home forcing his evacuation. The eruption is continuing and getting worse. Last night he lost his home and all his physical possessions. His family is safe.
Mike has worked 27 years for Calavo Growers, Inc. as a mechanic. Last month he made the last mortgage payment on his home. This morning he has no home, no property upon which to rebuild.
Thank you for all who have already generously helped out. To our bigger Calavo family, please take this opportunity to show your support to help Mike rebuild.

My name is Eric Weinert, General Manager of Hawaii Operations for Calavo Growers, Inc. Any funds raised will be donated to Mike Kyser for him to spend in any way he sees fit to rebuild his life. My heart goes out to Mike and his family. He is a salt of the earth guy with a huge heart and big smile. This is the least we can do.
