Voices for Justice:The Project on Palestine Studies

My name is Arwa Shurab, a Palestinian advocate for justice and a co-founder of (BCMAP) BC Muslim & Arab Professionals, with a deep commitment to supporting Palestine and amplifying the voices of marginalized communities. I am raising funds for the Project on Palestine Studies (PPS), launched by the Centre for Comparative Muslim Studies (CCMS) at SFU. This groundbreaking initiative is dedicated to expanding academic and community-based programming that explores the history, present, and future of Palestine.

The funds raised will support various project components, including Pedagogical Engagement, an Events Series, a Resource Library, and a Scholarship Program. These resources will foster education, advocacy, and meaningful dialogue on Palestine, equipping our community to better understand and address the forces of oppression and erasure impacting Palestinian and Muslim identities globally.
