Voices Amplified Fundrasier for the NAACP

Hello! We are a student-led organization called 'Voices Amplified.' We were founded after identifying that those not directly affected by issues of systemic racism may feel a disconnect that results in passive behavior. In addition, there is a need to highlight the accomplishments and excellence of BIPOC in order to build an uplifting narrative. ‘Voices Amplified’ was founded to meet these needs through educational posts, celebratory highlights, advocacy for a mindset change, international events, fundraising, and much much more! In short, we're involved in all things related to amplifying BIPOC voices. Though this gofundme is specifically for the NAACP, we want to uplift and amplify as many communities as we can in the future building a positive narrative for all BIPOC. 


For hundreds of years, Black people have faced immense systemic oppression. As the next generation,  we need to stand up to these injustices and fight for long-overdue change.  Here at Voices Amplified, we are conducting a pop-up shop sticker fundraiser on our website with the goal of raising at least $1,000 for the NAACP.  We urge you to donate to our gofundme page here as well so that the $1,000 goal can be reached faster and the money can be more immediately used to help uphold the NAACP mission. 


The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. is America’s premier legal organization fighting for racial justice. As of the 21st century, the NAACP’s goal is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination. The group expanded its mission in the late 20th century by considering issues such as police misconduct, the status of Black foreign refugees, and questions of economic development. Through litigation, advocacy, and public education, LDF seeks structural changes to expand democracy, eliminate disparities, and achieve racial justice in a society that fulfills the promise of equality for all Americans.
