Logline:
Cal, paralyzed with grief, is unable to attend the funeral of his younger brother. In the course of dealing with his loss, Cal listens to the messages on his phone, but every voicemail he hears is from a friend or acquaintance offering his or her condolences on the passing of his brother. Through these remembrances, Cal realizes what a positive impact his brother made on those around him.
Director’s Statement:
"I wanted to make this film because I know that the loss of a loved one is so familiar to and so difficult for so many people. Oftentimes, people think of those they’ve lost - especially when it’s an unexpected passing - in terms of how they died, what they left unfinished. My message in this film is to remember those who have passed away for the way they LIVED. "
