Sam Lane's Cancer Fighting Fund

I have started this gofundme page on behalf of my younger brother Sam Lane.
Sam has been diagnosed this month (February 2016) with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at the young age of only 25. He has been ill since October and was told he had Mono. Even though he was being medicated he was not getting better. In fact he got worse and required an ER visit.
He was admitted to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing Michigan were we waited a few days for all the test results to come back. They were not what anyone was really expecting. Cancer is all too common of a word spoken these days. And everyone knows someone who has some form of cancer it seems like. But when you hear or find out it is you, or someone in your family it is a rollercoaster of emotion and panic.
Sam spent a little over a week in the hospital while more tests were ran and a plan was put in place for his chemo treatment. He returned home and my mom, Diane, took time off work to care for him. He has nurses coming in twice a week to check on him. And Saturday (February, 27th) the nurse discovered that Sam’s chemo port was infected and also believed he had a blood clot. So he has been readmitted to the hospital and is getting treatment.
So I have stared this page to help with the financial burden that this has created. So many things come in to play and contribute to this. My mom has taken time off work, Sam is not working any longer due to this. Travel expenses, food, co-pays, gas, student loans and on and on.
If you would please share this with everyone you know that would be a huge help to Sam and our family. Thank you all so much.
