If you know me, you know I don’t do things like this. But I’m in an emergency situation and I need to be honest about what’s been happening.

In June, I took a leap of faith and left the job I had been with for 10 years. I accepted a position in a different field, believing it would be more profitable in the long run. Unfortunately, after just four weeks—during which I was misled, not properly trained, and not paid what I was promised—I was let go with no explanation.

After being out of work for three months, my former job at MelroseMac welcomed me back, and I’m truly grateful. But the time without income has put me in a difficult place financially. I’m now facing eviction, with an estimated lockout date of December 5, and I have no way to catch up on my rent in time.

I’m humbly asking for a little bit of financial assistance as I try to navigate my next steps and get back on stable ground. Any help, no matter the amount, means more than you know.
