This is Ace, aka "Boy!" our fun, loving, active cat that's been the center of our family for the past 5 years.

Recently, our fur baby stopped going outside, being the social & active tomcat he's known for, always running in and out of the house like a little kid excited to go play with his friends.

He makes his way around the neighborhood, visiting neighbors & friends, walks with the disabled & elderly to their mailbox & back on his way to visit his feline friends. If he's ever out too late or gone too long, enough to make me worry, all I have to do is get on the phone to call down to neighbors he frequents often & he'll be inside visiting one of them, they'll let him out & he'll be back home before I can get off the phone.

For almost 2 weeks now, he doesn't want to go outside and he lays under the end table awake & just there.. He seems very lethargic & first presented with a limp but it's been gone for over a week now & he still seems very weak..

I first reached out to a group on FB seeking advice on what I could do to help him and I was told I had to take him to the vet, it was inhumane to let him suffer and I was told to make a Gofundme page for the generous people wanting to give donations towards Ace's Vet costs.. (We call him "boy" because that's all he answers to.)

On 3/31/3025, I took him to see the vet and they did a full physical on him, blood panels, urine, the works. Etc. Here's all I know:

Weight: 9.9 lbs

Respiratory rate: 40

Heart rate: 220

Temp: 102

No blockages, used the bathroom.. He's eating/drinking. All of his labs came back normal. (results from vet below, in updates)

They can't find anything wrong with him except a heart murmur and tachycardia so they're thinking he may have an underlying heart condition which requires more extensive blood work and workup.

He is still very loving, enjoys attention and stays nearby (under furniture) but he no longer climbs, plays outside, gets the zoomies, walks around or has any interest in his toys or hunting.
