Garcia Family

Jacqueline and her dad, Mario Alberto García Aguilar, left their home country of El Salvador and came to the United States in 2015.  Mario had several jobs as he adjusted to the country and worked to learn English.  Mario's wife Yansi came to join the family in 2018.

Mario left the house and went missing on the night of February 5 of this year.  Since he had been dealing with various physical and mental health issues for some time, Jacqueline and Yansi feared the worst, but did not know where he had gone for several weeks. Earlier in March, a body was found in a local lake, and it was eventually confirmed that this was Mario.
  
Mario had been supporting the family, so Jacqueline and her mom have had to move to another apartment to save on costs. Jacqueline has epilepsy, and she needs to pay for her required medicines and to pay off some hospital bills. She had been on her father's insurance plan, but now finds herself suddenly uninsured for the time being.  

Jacqueline is a diligent full-time student at KCK Community College and is also working.  The family really needs help to cover funeral costs, medical expenses for Jacqueline, and other immediate needs.
