On June 18, 2025 Chuck will undergo a below the knee amputation of his right leg.

The West Palm Beach BYKOTA Chapter of the Widow Sons would like to raise funds for Chuck to have a motorized wheel chair after surgery. He and Amber are also in need of the hitch and setup to transport the chair with their vehicle. There is also a need for a few pieces of equipment to modify the camper to assist in his recovery.

Chuck started his battle in the spring of 2019. That summer he had surgery at Barnes to remove a tumor on his scalp.

After almost 5 years, Chuck was diagnosed with cancer recurrence in the summer of 2024 due to a large tumor in his lower right leg. He is now at a Stage 4 due to metastasis to the lungs. He started daily chemo medications in the fall of 2024 and had a round of radiation early 2025.

However, the tumor in his lower right leg is growing so large that it is fracturing his bones. He is in pain daily and continues with the side effects of the chemo meds.

Doctors, along with Chuck and his family,

have decided that amputation of the lower right leg is the next step. Surgery is scheduled for June 18, 2025. The family will need as much support as they can get.
