We need help! Recent major repairs have left us devastated.  Please help us save Canine Rehabilitation Center & Sanctuary.  Any donation  will help.

These lives do matter, and to keep saving them we need help.

About Canine Rehabilitation Center & Sanctuary

Our primary focus is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home at-risk dogs. We do not discriminate against age, breed, or medical condition, and provide refuge and often times fourth or fifth chances for dogs desperately needing a new start.

Canine Rehabilitation Center & Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The dogs that come into our care have amazing stories of strength, love, triumph, and survival. We touch close to 1,000 dogs each year,  and this number continues to grow.

Some have even given much of their lives to science and laboratory research.   Others have suffered from neglect, abuse, hoarding, or puppy mills, or  have endured long-term confinement or isolation.

In addition, we are a support for rescues and shelters, taking in dogs that have been waiting for extended periods to find a home, dogs that  have been returned multiple times, and dogs that are struggling in the  shelter environment due to fear and lack of socialization.

We Are:
· Dedicated to helping dogs recover from trauma such as abuse,
neglect, long-term confinement, and other special cases

· Dedicated to providing rescue, recovery, socialization, training, and
placement for dogs that shelters and rescues cannot place

· Dedicated to the dog that sits in a shelter for a year or more, waiting
patiently for someone to come along and say "He’s the one I want!”

· Dedicated to the dog that is unlucky enough to be a product of a
puppy mill and live years in a cage, unaware of what it's like to run free

· Dedicated to the dog whose owner isolated her in a yard for years and
forgot to socialize, stimulate, and offer guidance

· Dedicated to the dog that is ill due to environment or age and doesn't
have a family or home to call their own

· Dedicated to the dog that, because someone didn't take time to work
with him, ended up in a shelter, adopted-returned-adopted-returned

What’s Happening Now

In 2013, Canine Rehabilitation Center & Sanctuary moved from a doggy day care center to an old, worn-down building that had been sitting abandoned for years. The building itself was needing TLC but it provided a space for our dogs and was something we could build on.  Our space has over five acres and is located in a quiet and beautiful setting - we knew it was the perfect space to expand our unique efforts serving  dogs in need.

After leasing the property, we were finally able to raise enough money to purchase it in 2015. Since that time, we have been working hard to live up to our vision as this property can house hundreds of once neglected and abused dogs.  We also have many training programs on a weekly basis…all saving lives.

Because they all do matter!

The devastating news—over the past several months there has been  one major repair needed after another.  We can’t keep up!

Major repairs such as;
air conditioning, plumbing and pipe issues, septic tank, washing machine, electrical issues, and a roof - ALL desperately needed.

ALL of this has hit at the same time and we are now in crisis mode.

Thank you for believing, like we do, that these precious lives do matter.   We have so much more work to do assisting dogs across the country.

WE CAN'T DO THIS LIFESAVING WORK WITHOUT YOU!
