Hi, my name is Rica Del Mundo and I live in El Sobrante. My father was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer in October 2022 and he passed away on December 20, 2022. He was given a year to live but everything happened so fast. He was 77. He was a great father, he came to the US as an immigrant 7 years ago and even at that age, he helped me with household expenses by working full-time in a refrigeration company in Richmond. He got his US citizenship in September 2022 and was very excited to get his blue passport but was not able to do so because of his ongoing condition. I am a single parent and I also take care of my mother who is a post-stroke patient. I am trying my best to make ends meet. I plan to bring his ashes back to our hometown in the Philippines. I would like to ask for support to fund my father’s funeral expenses. Thank you so much!
