Stephen's Journey to Recovery

Donation protected
Friends, family, and loved ones:

On August 19, 2024, Stephen experienced a devastating accident while swimming at a pool in Delaware. Stephen suffered a neck and spinal cord injury that required extensive
surgery to his C3-C7 vertebrae. As a result of the injury, Stephen is currently paralyzed, including his hands, legs and feet. He maintains the ability to breathe and communicate on his own. Although he is making steady progress, a prognosis has not been determined at this time.

Stephen is the father of Andrea Madaglia and Kaitlyn Fecteau, and partner to Vera Werkheiser. He has always been a hard-working and active man, currently making a living doing handyman jobs.

Now, as Stephen embarks on a long and challenging road to recovery, his family will be facing significant financial burdens. While we remain hopeful that Stephen will regain the ability to walk again, the journey ahead is uncertain and will require extensive rehabilitation and care.

With Stephen unable to work, his family is in need of assistance covering daily living costs, accommodations for his daughters as they have been traveling back and forth from New Hampshire to assist in their father’s recovery, along with many other unforeseen expenses that have arisen from this tragedy.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping Stephen and his family navigate through this incredibly challenging time.

Please consider donating to support the Nowlan family. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated as they work towards Stephen’s recovery and adapt to these life-altering changes.

Thank you for your support.
