Earthquake Appeal

Donation protected
Ender has been me and my 2 boys barber for the last 2 years, he is from Turkey and works in the Barbershop at 56 Clontarf Road, Dublin.

Ender and his colleagues have a level of patience with kids that is rare in many of the Irish barbershops we’ve tried out. There is a positive and fun atmosphere in the shop and my boys look forward to their monthly haircut.
Ender’s family home was destroyed in the Earthquake which devastated their country on Feb 6th. His entire extended family lived there, a 4 storey apartment block which also housed his mother’s place of work, a local grocery store.
When the building collapsed Ender lost 11 relatives, his mother Cahide, his auntie Gulsah, his uncle Mehmet and 8 of his cousins. The building where his father and brother operate their family business also collapsed severely affecting his family’s ability to make a living.
His family are now in the process of rebuilding their home and while he is doing everything he can to support them financially, it is not enough, his family need additional support in order to rebuild their home.
In order to help raise funds my brother Ronan and I have signed up to run the Kerry Way Ultra Marathon on 1st September.
Between now and then we hope to raise €5,000 to help Ender and his family rebuild their family home.
Any support would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Shane
