The Clark Family Memorial Fund

Donation protected
We have been overwhelmed with the kindness and outreach from all of Al's acquaintances, friends and everyone from all over the country!
Thank you for your outpouring of love and support.
So many people have asked how they can help?
Here's how you can:
The Clark Family Memorial Fund has been created to  assist the children, Madison, Duncan and Cameron, with their current and future needs. We have set a goal of $40,000 for the future: their education, weddings, medical expenses and any other future expenses for the kids.  Al's commitment to being a great father to his beautiful children was evident in all of his endeavors.
We are grateful for anything you can do and anyway you can assist.

Below is a letter from Madison's to Al that was read at his service,  and it is a small glimpse into the father he was with his children.

"There are so many great things I could say about my dad.  I remember learning how to ride my bike on the basketball court.  Shortly after, he helped me practice my free throws on the same court.
In 2nd grade as soon as I was tall enough for all the roller coasters, he took me out of school to go to Busch Gardens.  It became an annual thing and we had plans to go again this year.
He coached my softball team and never cared about winning, only that we had a good time.  My dad bought me my first car and paid for my first accident.
For years and years, we laid on the couch together and watched scary movies.  My dad is the reason I love them so much.   Going out on the boat was something he really loved and as we got older, it was something the whole family enjoyed doing together.  He loved to pull me and my friends on the tube, while we held on for our lives.
He really loved spending time with us.  My family is not into snow, but he made it possible for everyone to come visit me for Christmas while I was in Vermont.  Not seeing me wasn't an option.
I got to experience a lot of things other kids didn't.  I, hands down, have the best dad in the entire world.  He worked so hard to make sure we had the things we wanted.
My dad loved us so much.  I know this because he told me all the time.  No matter how tough things got, we always had each other.  It warms my heart to hear how bad ass he was, and to see all of the people who really cared about him.
Holidays won't be the same, but my family is strong and we will stick together.  As my mom would say, 'We will always have each other's back!'
I miss him every minute, and that will never change.  But I have my family and we will take care of one another.

I love my dad, he will always be my first love, and I will do the best I can to make him proud."

Again, thank you so much for all of your love, support and prayers, we are all so very grateful.
