Fight with Joanna
Donation protected

This is my daughter-in-law Joanna 'Jade' Ramos, my son Ray Anthony Ramos, and my beautiful grandchildren.
In approximately 2010, Joanna started experiencing health problems. Years passed and the trips to doctors, emergency rooms, tests, tests, and more tests gave no answers to what was causing Joanna's health to decline.
In May 2013, Joanna was hospitalized in critical condition. She was stabilized and transferred to San Francisco for treatment. Once there, doctors said she was in need of a liver transplant to save her life. Our family received that miracle on May 19, 2013. Joanna received a new liver and we prayed for healing and a healthy life.
Months after surgery her body began rejecting her new organ. Trips to the emergency room, San Francisco for more appointments, and tests had given few answers. Doctors are now saying that she has an Auto-Immune disease, which is attacking both the donor organ and possibly her other organs as well.
As of October 9, 2015 Joanna was again admitted into the hospital in San Francisco. She is in the Intensive Care Unit on a breathing machine, fighting to stay here with her husband, children, and family.
Joanna's care and required trips to San Francisco has caused financial stress for their family. My son Anthony continuously travels back and forth to be by his wife's side, care for their children, and work to pay their bills.
We are asking for your donations and support so that Anthony has the ability to stay in San Francisco by Joanna's side as she continues her fight. Anything would help tremendously.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Joanna's story. It means the world to Joanna, my son, and our entire family.
