As you all know, my name is Martin Cruz, I'm you're local photographer and videographer. Thursday MAY 21st, I got into a really bad car accident on the highway. I was going on Route 3, where there was previously construction. I hit a metal separator in the road, lost traction, swerved out , then I swerved back in, hitting the wall directly on the driver side. Thus leading me to spin out and hit the opposite wall and smashing my trunk. My car was literally sandwiched at this point, and is completely totaled. I was rushed to the hospital afterwards. Later informed that I had fractured my spine severly. The doctor stated I'm extremely lucky that my seatbelt was on or else I'd be dead. Lucky enough it was a miracle that I wasn't paralyzed, any lower I would of, without a doubt been paralyzed.. As for surgery I had 6 screws put into my spine and I have to receive intensive care, physical therapy and bed rest for 2 months. Now guys, any type of donation towards a new car would be most appreciated so I can get back on my feet sooner rather than later, so I can continue to chase my dreams. I promise to not let any of you down, because I know each and every one of you guys have been partaking or spectating my journey. Without transportation, my goals will nearly be impossible. I apprectiate anything that will help speed up my process on my road to chasing my dreams.
