Donate to help “Mickey” the Hell’s Kitchen cat
Donation protected
This little spunky kitty was rescued from an abandoned lot in Hell’s Kitchen this past weekend. We took her from starving in a wood pile to a warm place to sleep.
Kim Corrigan spotted the kitty first and smartly posted on Nextdoor and a Hell’s Kitchen Facebook group. Then Liz Koch got involved. Tiff saw both posts and a post by Jeannie C. And went to meet Liz and Kim to be boots on the ground to get the kitty. Sarah Crook came to help and the rest is history. Along with tremendous support from the community we got this kitty off the street.
Greenpoint Cats led by Megan has stepped him with guidance and medical help and will be handling the adoption of our little kitty! Thanks Megan and team!
We’ve named her “Mickey”, and she has the most lovely tiger stripes from head to toe.
From the moment one HK neighbor spotted this wet, sad little kitty starving in the rain and cold, our small “rescue team” has been trying to help her. And now that she is safe, we need YOUR help to get her medical care, feed her, get litter, and help get her to vet appointments.
Special thanks to a fabulous rescue group that has offered to get her spayed and vaccinated.
There has been an amazing outpour of support from this HK community and we can’t thank you enough. New friends have been made and a community has been inspired becuase of this little cat. She is truly special and needed us all.
Please donate what you can, even if it’s only a small amount.
All funds raised will go only to this kitty and her care on her journey.
Thank You!
