The Accident
On May 31st, my 20-year-old brother, Tino, was involved in a severe motorcycle accident.
He is currently in the ICU in a medically induced coma, battling multiple fractures, lacerations, and the aftermath of major surgeries.
His Medical Journey Since the accident, Tino has undergone:
- Open heart surgery
- Multiple blood transfusions
- Surgery to correct fractures with pins and other hardware And many more to go
Currently his condition is touch-and-go, and he remains in critical care with an uncertain road to recovery ahead. Every day brings a new challenge and often, another surgery. We are just praying for his strength and resilience to pull through.
How You Can Help in addition to the medical bills, our immediate concern is to ensure our parents can stay by Tino's side and support his recovery and his bills This includes:
- Travel expenses to and from the hospital
- Living accommodations near the hospital
- Potential transfer to a specialist facility for advanced care
- Tino’s expenses as he is not going to be working
