Meet Mila, a beautiful 1 year old German Shepard/Husky mix adopted from the shelter - who enjoys making friends with everyone and loves attention.
This sweet baby was recently found to have hip dysplasia. Recent x-rays showed that her left hip bone isn’t connected into the hip socket.
Mila has been stoically struggling with hip pain for a majority of her life. Doctors says it should be corrected by the time she turns 2 in November or she will be living with chronic pain.
In order to correct the hip dysplasia, Mila will need a $10,000 surgery! The vet bill is a bit strenuous for her parents, but they are willing to do anything for her, and are kindly requesting assistance. Mila is one of the sweetest dogs in Santa Barbara and deserves to enjoy her time with her beloved family and to live her life to the fullest. Anything you could contribute towards her happiness would be appreciated!
