A friend in need

Today a friend/coworker confided in me about a situation that happened to her and I feel compelled to try to help. Those of you that work at St. Joseph hospital might know about the car that caught fire and burnt to a crisp in our parking garage. Well...It belonged to Megan. The details are not for me to divulge. I'm just trying to help. This is unsolicited from Megan. I will ask her consent for this fundraiser after I have done  the leg work. I'm just hoping for some Chirstmas cheer for someone that deserves a win.

Megan is a CNA I work with who, as is with  most CNAs, far underpaid for the hard work she puts in. Megan as I am sure most will agree, goes the extra mile on a daily basis to assure the best possible care is given to every patient. She is willing to help others  under ANY circumstance whether it be to help a coworker get caught up on their workload, to help any patient under ANY nurse's care to get the care they need or just to be a positive prescence  to any who might need it. And I know, from knowing Megan that she offers all this to everyone she comes in contact with. So again I say if someone deserves a win, its Megan, 

Megan is currently planning her own wedding, putting herself through college to become an RN and working so hard to make ends meet. A set back like this is going to be devastating. Her insurance will only be providing her with enough to cover an equally as unreliable vehicle and I would love to see her get more.

My hopes in creating this gofundme is to help a friend supplement her insurance contributions to help get her into a more reliable vehicle than her insurance will provide and to ease at least a modicum of her stress. 

Megan has always been willing to give up her free time to come and walk my dog when I or my girlfriend Elise cant. She cares deeply for everyone she meets and would give up anything she had, even if its just her time for her friends, her patients, or even just someone she works with (me). 

With Chirstmas around the corner I know finances are most likely stretched thin for most, Nothing is expected with this post. Just a hope to provide one christmas miracle to a great human being who could use one.
