Vladyslav Remeniak Ukrainian Medical Relief Fund

Hi, my name is Jennifer Baldwin. Several years ago, I was privileged to meet a young exchange student from Ukraine named Vladyslav (Vlad) Remeniak, who attended Emporia State University. We invited Vlad into our home during breaks, and he became part of our family. Because Vlad was so warm and open, my family learned about his culture, family, and pets. We have remained friends through the years, staying in touch through Facebook.

Fast forward to 2022, and we watch in horror as Vlad's home of Kyiv attacked and his family scattered. I immediately reached out to Vlad and asked what we could do. As Vlad is of age he is unable to leave Ukraine, and even if he could, he does not want to leave. He wants to stay and help in any way he can. So this is why we are reaching out to anyone who can help. Vlad is currently staying with other families in a home in Lviv.

Vlad has asked for help with medical supplies, tourniquet kits, protection gear, etc.

As it is next to impossible to get money directly to Ukraine, we are working with an NPO and supply chain with the help of Vlad to get the necessary supplies directly to where they are needed. None of this money from this fundraiser will go to Vlad or myself directly. Yet every dollar will go directly to Ukrainian Medical Relief. We will be able to provide receipts from all transactions to ease your mind on where your donations go. All you have to do is ask.
