Vladimir Sabatelli

Our friend, son, colleague and brother Firefighter/EMT Vladimir Sabatelli was taken from us in a tragic accident on November 23, 2021, where his vehicle crashed and burned.

 

Vlad was a recent graduate of the FDNY EMS academy and assigned to Station 55 in the Bronx, where he quickly made strong bonds and served the people of New York City professionally and compassionately.

 

In his off duty time Vlad was a Volunteer Firefighter with Richmond Engine Co 1 located on Staten Island. He was a graduate of the Middlesex Fire Academy. During his time Vlad was an outstanding member of our company and served the community of Richmondtown, selflessly responding to numerous fires, medical emergencies and disasters within the confines of our large response area.

 

Vlad resided with his mother in Brooklyn and has no siblings.

 

The high cost of funeral expenses is often a financial strain for families. We are asking for any generous donations to help offset the cost of his funeral and help his parents with this tragic burden.

 

Vlad was there for the people of New York City and the community of Richmondtown. He was our hero who answered the call for selfless service.
