Hello Everyone,

 

As many of you may know Vlad was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma cancer in 2016, originating in the soft muscle tissue. He went through chemo, radiation, surgery, and has been in remission since 2018, all while trying to be the most present dad.

 

Unfortunately, due to one of the previous surgeries, an infection entered the body and continues to cause sepsis, a debilitating condition that limits Vlad’s ability to live life to the fullest and is life-threatening.

 

Through Vlad’s massage therapy classes in lymphedema, he was able to find a plastic surgeon in Ohio that can perform a lymphedema reconstruction surgery. The surgery would be life saving to give Vlad new life in every way. The consultation with the surgeon went well, and she’s optimistic that she is able to help Vlad get his normal life back.

 

 

 

 

Due to the current pain, Vlad is limited in his abilities and time to work. As a result, finances have become tight, income has decreased and medical and child care bills have increased. We are asking for any financial support that you would be able to give at this time to cover the surgery. This will help alleviate some stress on Vlad from the financial side and help him return back to pre-cancer Vlad. If there are additional funds raised, we will pass the remaining funds to a patient going through a similar hardship. We appreciate everyone’s support throughout this whole process. Thank you!
