My name is Kate, and I am helping raise money for my dear friend, Marsha, and her family affected by Hurricane Melissa. Marsha is from Jamaica, and her father's roof and farming land were wiped out by the hurricane. Her mother's home foundation was destroyed and will need restructuring. While we are lucky that her family was not hurt physically, they are left with a hefty financial burden of repairing their homes and their farming land after the devastating impacts of the hurricane.
