Hey friends and family, my sister Aliza received news that completely changed her life a few weeks ago. She was diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma, a type of thyroid cancer.

Hearing the word “cancer” at her age was something she never imagined. It’s been scary, overwhelming, and honestly hard to process. Soon, she’ll be undergoing surgery to remove her entire thyroid, which means she will be on lifelong medication and constant follow-up care to manage her health.

This journey has brought a lot of unexpected challenges! endless doctor visits, tests, and hospital trips, along with the growing costs of medical bills and transportation. She has been trying to stay strong and keep her spirit up, but the truth is, it’s been emotionally and financially draining.
