Hi everyone, this is annette Blake’s mom. Many of you already know bits and pieces of what’s been going on, but I wanted to share the full picture and ask for prayers and support for our family.

After what was meant to be a simple surgery, Blake developed a severe infection that quickly turned septic. The doctors told us that if he had waited even 24 more hours to get help, he might not be here today. It was one of the scariest moments of our lives, but by the grace of God and through the power of so many prayers, Blake pulled through.

He’s now home and under close in-home care, with a long road of recovery ahead. Anyone who knows Blake knows how hard he works and how much he loves his family. He’s always been the one to give, help, and provide for everyone else without ever asking for anything in return.

With Blake unable to work right now, and Karley also scheduled for surgery on the 17th, things have understandably become very difficult. They would never ask for help themselves, but as a mom and grandmother, I’m stepping in to ask on their behalf. Any help—no matter how small—would mean the world and help them focus on healing and caring for their four beautiful children without added stress.

There’s no set goal, just gratitude for any support, prayers, or shares just to get them by. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for lifting this family up and reminding them they’re not alone.
