Hello everyone! My name is Chris Drysdale and I am a 22 year old professional golfer, stopping at nothing to accomplish my goal of playing competitive golf at the highest level. I played collegiate golf at the Division III level, where I earned All-American status, conference player of the year honors, and was part of the 2018 National Championship team. I made the decision to turn professional in May of 2019 and have been able to make a few paychecks from the handful of small events I have played in during the summer.
I have since moved to Savannah, GA, for the winter season to spend all day, every day working towards the ultimate goal of playing on the PGA Tour.
The reason I am setting up this account, with the goal of reaching $10,000, is to raise money to help myself afford travel expenses and tournament entry fees. At the start of 2020, I have a handful of Minor League Tour events in preparation for Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying School which takes place in August.
I have believed my entire life that the most important thing is to do what makes you happy, and to follow your dreams no matter how outlandish they may seem. I strongly believe that I will become the #1 ranked professional golfer in the world, and I will stop at nothing to achieve my goal.
Any donations will go a long way and will be greatly appreciated, the money that I raise will be used to keep a roof over my head while traveling the world, doing what I love most in life. Which is playing competitive golf.
