My name is Monica Kennedy. I would never do this normally but sometimes I think that God humbles us so we will have to reach out and put our faith in human kind and admit that we need help. I worked as a nurse for 15 years in Med Surge, Oncology, Orthopedics, Neurology, and Hospice. I have a really bad back with a protruding screw, scoliosis, arthritis, and a compression fracture. I had the 4th surgery last week. However, I can't find anyone to fix the rest. There is a possible doctor in Texas that will fix broken hardware. I have a husband who is an excellent teacher and football coach who works as hard as he can and does the very best that he can. We have really struggled financially over the past year when the pain and immobility were just so much to handle to work. We really need your help, any possible thing that you can do for medical bills, utilities, and trips back and forth to Texas to see if this doctor can help. I have two precious small boys that are 2 and 6 that I can't play with, can't get in the floor with or do anything physical, they don't understand why Mommy is broken, nor should they be expected to at their young ages. If it were not for other people, my family, and my church, we would not have made it this far. My family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I had the greatest job ever and the pleasure of taking care of hundreds of people over my years.  I miss it so much and wish that I could do more for my family.
