Support for Danni’s Daughters

Hello, my name is Kim. I am the mother of Danni “Butterfly” Meiner, who lost her fight with Breast Cancer and associated complications on September 30, 2021. We have no words to describe the depth of our loss, nor the emptiness she leaves behind. Danni was an amazing person, a warrior spirit, who fought breast cancer for 13 years. She was loved by many, especially her “littles” that she loved so much as a school bus driver for Blanco ISD here in Texas. She leaves behind 2 precious daughters, Bailey, 23 who lived with Danni and Kamryn, 22 who lives in San Angelo, Texas near her father. I will be staying indefinitely with Bailey to assist with her needs in this time of loss, helping her with all the details of her mother’s estate. It is overwhelming for such a young woman to try to manage all this alone. Both girls will need reliable transportation as they move forward. Living expenses

are needed since they now lack their mother’s income to continue supporting them. Bailey needs college financial assistance as she is nearing completion of her Bachelor’s degree and needs to achieve that goal. I have chosen the most logical option, to retire, in order to be here for my granddaughters, creating further financial need as I will still be supporting my home and responsibilities in Arizona as well as here in Texas, I will be providing both financial and emotional support during the next few difficult and painful months of adjustment as we all process the loss of their mother and my daughter. Anyone who has experienced the loss of a primary breadwinner in their family knows that a small life insurance policy, months away from receipt, doesn’t begin to cover the

expenses and needs of those left behind trying survive the sudden financial loss and working to rebuild their lives.
