My sister Stephanie is facing one of the hardest moments of her life, and our family is asking for help in the most humble way we know how. She was recently diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma, and her doctors discovered that her tumor is growing faster than it should. Because of this, she’s scheduled for major surgery in the middle of December, right before Christmas, to remove her entire thyroid. After surgery, she will undergo radiation and a long recovery that will require her to take time away from work.

Stephanie is the heart of our family. She is kind, gentle, and incredibly smart. She works in the medical field helping others every single day, all while balancing school, life, and being a devoted dog & cat mom. She’s a book lover who finds joy in the simple things, especially quiet nights at home with her wife and their little family. She never asks for anything, and she carries more on her shoulders than most people ever see.

Now she is scared, overwhelmed, and trying to stay strong through something no one is ever prepared to face. The financial stress of surgery, radiation, medication, and lost wages only adds to the weight she is already carrying. And as a family, all we want is to give her peace as she fights through this.

We are hoping to raise funds to help cover the costs of:
