Vibrant Earth Collective startup fund!

We are a collective in the NC High Country co-creating a resilient, equitable and sustainable space through a social justice lens. We are seeking to purchase a large tract of land, create an eco-friendly equitable housing neighborhood, preserve land, create hiking and biking trails, and create multiple collaborative businesses including a campground, tiny rental tree houses and cabins, a sustainable farm, a community center and a healing center.

Vision: A resilient and inclusive community, cultivating collective abundance and living in reciprocity with each other and our environment.

Mission: Co-create a sustainable ecosystem of homes, land conservation projects, and collaborative businesses whose operations thrive on social equity and environmental health.

Commitment: We are committed to interrogating our assumptions, unlearning colonialism, and embracing embodied politics while seeking collective liberation.

We have been in the research and community consultation phase for a few years now. We recently incorporated as a nonprofit and LLC and have formed a board of directors.

These funds will be used for the creation of a startup packet (creating branding packages and marketing, hiring Consultants and Specialists, offering classes, workshops, and community events, and acquiring a community space) for the long range goal of land purchase. Somos un colectivo en el High Country de Carolina del Norte co-creando un espacio resiliente, equitativo y sostenible a través de una perspectiva de justicia social. Lo que buscamos es adquirir una gran extensión de terreno, crear un vecindario eco-amigable con acceso equitativo a la vivienda, preservar la tierra, crear senderos para caminar y bicicletear, y crear múltiples negocios colaborativos, incluyendo una zona para realizar campamentos, un servicio de alquiler de casas de árbol y cabañas pequeñas, una granja sostenible, un centro comunitario y un centro de sanación.

Desde hace algunos años hemos estado trabajando en la fase de investigación y de consultoría comunitaria. Recientemente nos incorporamos oficialmente como una organización sin fines de lucro y una compañía de responsabilidad limitada (LLC por sus siglas en inglés), y hemos formado una junta directiva.

Estos fondos iniciales serán utilizados para la fase inicial del proyecto (financiación de paquetes de marketing; contratación de asesores y especialistas; clases, talleres y eventos comunitarios; y un espacio comunitario), con el objetivo a largo plazo de adquirir un terreno.
