Help Jennifer in her time of need

Hi All,

If you are in the animal rescue world chances are you have met Jen. She is the owner of the FACT van that helps with the spay and neuter of feral cats and helps run South Shore Humane (all of this while working a full time job). Jen has dedicated her life to animals in need. If you haven't met Jen, she is someone so many helpless animals rely on.

It is our turn to help Jen.

Jen has been battling stage 4 cancer for years. After coming home from cancer treatment in New York, Jen and her husband returned to their house engulfed in flames. Her husband rushed inside knowing the animals needed his help. He pulled out one of their dogs, a cat and a kitten. Tragically, both of Jens beloved dogs passed. These dogs have been her rock through all the health challenges she has faced.

Jen's home was a safe haven for many animals that she fostered through organizations, a clean and healthy environment where they waited until their new home was found. That home is now uninhabitable.

All but 2 of Jens personal animals perished in the fire. Many cats were sent to the VCA, needing time in oxygen tanks. The vet bill for this is going to be extremely high.

All Jen wanted to do after her surgery was snuggle her dogs in her house, that was all taken away from her. This woman is a fighter. It is our time to show her how loved she is, how much she means to the human and animal world.

Any funds raised will go to the vet bills for the surviving animals and the families needs.
