Please help me send someone to D.C.

Hi, my name is Mia, and I am in 8th grade. In May, my School is planning on sending me and as many 8th graders as they can to D.C. It costs $1500 dollars to send one kid. It pays for the flight (California-Washington) , hotel, and our meals. Unfortunately, many kids can not go on this amazing learning trip due to their financial situations. Personally, my family can provide the money for me to go and I am very thankful. My hope is to  raise money so that at least one of my classmates  may be able go. For some, this trip that may be an opportunity of a lifetime. Maybe the first time they will get to go on a plane, I want to be a part of making this happen for someone else.. Please help me raise this money so that someone can go on a educational trip of a lifetime!
