A Friend in Need

I am raising funds for a dear friend, who is desperate and struggling to keep her head above water financially. She has been a caregiver her entire adult life. She took care of her parents in their final years. She cared for an elderly neighbor, who couldn't care for himself, all while taking care of her husband, who suffered a multitude of medical issues, as well as her son with special needs, who has also battled many health issues for his entire life. Even her career was dedicated to caring for special needs children in schools. Now she is in her 70s, and trying to survive on a fixed income. She lost her husband to COVID a year and a half ago, has no family other than her son, and is buried in medical bills and monthly living expenses. She has been to every senior service provider and government agency, but has received no assistance. She recently shared with me that she has lost all hope and is barely hanging on. I can't turn away from a friend in need.

So, I am reaching out to you, my family and friends, to ask for your help for this kind, selfless woman. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated. If you are not in a position to donate, I understand and thank you for taking time to read about my friend. Please pray for her and her son, that they may find their way to some financial stability and peace of mind.
