As most of you know, Carmen Amalia Paredes, has been fighting breast cancer since last year. She has gone thru several months of chemotherapy and it has been very hard on her body. She lost a lot of weight, had to go to the hospital a few times during the treatment because of side effects. Her body took a tool but God has been very good and the size of the cancer has decreased as we hoped for. Now comes the next part of her treatment: Surgery to remove the cancer. On Feb 21st Amalia will have her surgery. I come to ask that first you all pray for her and for a successful surgery. Second, if you can, help Amalia financially. She will not be able to work and she is very stressed with all her bills. Her insurance helps with a lot of the costs, but she is still left with a big amount that she cannot afford.
