Wyatt Michael Corning Memorial Park

Our sweet Wyatt Michael Corning went to be with our Saviour September 26, 2015. This tragic loss has shaken us deeply, more than words can say, but we are fighting to live our lives fully, in honor of our son. We both grew up in Blanchard, ID and attended school in Priest River, ID. We have made strong connections with our surrouding communities and wanted to do something that would keep Wyatt's memory alive and contribute to our hometowns. We are putting in a park that will be called Wyatt Michael Corning Memorial Park in Blanchard. The park will include a large commercial Rainbow structure with 4 slides, rock wall, cargo chain ladder, monkey and shimmy bars, and many more fun amentities. It also will include a fire station climber, whirl-with-me merry-go-round, worm crawl tube, tire swing, teetor totters, and merry-go-cycle. We will be leaving the existing swing set that is about 50 yrs old because of its sentimental value to us. Alan and I both grew up playing on it and enjoy watching our boys on it as well. Also a pavilion will be going in, complete with picnic tables and grill area. We will be sprucing up that area by adding some nice landscaping. Alan and I feel like this will be such a great contribution to our community. It warms our hearts to think of kids laughing and running through the park, and families gathering for summer barbeques. All the funds will go towards playground equipment, landscape supplies, and building material. Throughout this life changing tragedy we have been blown away by the amount of love and support that our family has been shown. Words cannot express how much everyone of you means to us.
