Gloria Fazio's MD Costs Jan 2016

Gloria Fazio is my son's Spanish tutor, and a most prescious friend to our family through the years, along with her husband Guido, and their children.  Charlotte and I have known them for perhaps 20 years.  Her husband has taught inspired music technique, played his saxophone in various churches and bands, written music, and supported young and older people all over the East SF Bay Area the entire time.  

Recently, in January 2016, Gloria had an epileptic seizure and was rushed by ambulance about one mile to the hospital.  She stayed there for 1 week while the doctors discovered a brain tumor and stabilized her.   You can find her journal on www.CaringBridge.org.  

The day we arrived at the hospital we knew that Gloria did not have health care insurance.  We all prayed and Gloria was accepted for insurance within days - A miracle!  

However she has been waiting for her surgery date - April 18, 2016.  It has been quite a journey so far, and we don't know yet if the tumor is benign or malignant. Along the way of this emergency, she received medical bills she and Guido do not have the financial resources to pay because their lives are dedicated to providing personal service as freelancers.  

I wished I had the ability to pay the bills, but I do not. We were going to put on a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser, but that is "old school."  A friend of ours suggested GoFundMe.  

I asked Gloria to add up the bills that insurance will not cover.  She gave me an exact figure - $22,795.00 USD If anyone needs to see the actual bills, I can make that happen.   And here I am, on behalf of Gloria and her family, asking if you will be part of a second miracle.  

Given the thousands of people Guido and Gloria have touched over the years, it should be an honor for us to be part of their next miracle.  

You never know how much a human being you really are until you actually help somone in need.  I want to be part of blessing Guido and Gloria, because I feel an over-whelming urge from God to do what I can.  I feel it is part of my own journey this Easter to feel the need of somone who has been investing in my son and been a friend to our family, and to be a true friend myself.  

I beg you, in view of God's mercy, on Gloria's behalf to help them pay off this medical debt as Gloria prepares for surgery.  In a world of trouble, we can be part of the solution and miracle someone else is praying for.  I will be forever grateful, and more importantly, Gloria and Guido will be grateful.  Here's our latest chance to make a difference.
