Hi, as some of you may know I have a very dear friend, Nadia Coyt who has lupus. I know I've talked about her to some of you. She is such a great person and has a great heart! On December 9, 2015 Nadia had a blood transfusion due to her developing anemia. The hopsital decided to keep her overnight for observation. On December 10, 2015 we discovered that Nadia had taken a turn for the worse and was admitted to MICU. They have had her sedated (on and off) since then. It has been a very difficult and sad experience for her and her family. As of today, March 3, 2016, she is still in MICU. The doctors are doing everything that they can to save her. But the reality of it is that the Lupus has taken its toll on her.
