Help our Dad's Dream Come True

On July 5th, 2024, Mason and I (Grace) got the call that our dad, Kenny, was beginning his battle with stage 4 renal cell carcinoma. Nothing could have prepared us for this and I will say, we have fought together as a family every single day.

We were praying that on Friday, November 15th, we would be celebrating that this was finally over. However, we found out that Dad has developed tumors in his brain. His oncologist is hopeful but our fight is not yet over. If you know my dad, he is a fighter and he is ready for this next fight.

We want to give Dad a memory of a lifetime to commemorate this time and all the fight he has given once this battle is over. We want to give him that extra motivation to keep going and to show him how proud he makes us.

After some thought, Mason and I thought that making his dream of being able to go on a guided Elk hunt in Colorado come true would be perfect. Dad has always found comfort in the outdoors and has always been an avid hunter. This has been a bucket list trip for him as long as we can remember!

We are also collecting hats for Dad as this radiation on his brain will make him lose all of his hair. Dad is a BIG hat guy and you never see him not wearing one.

If you have had the pleasure of knowing our Dad, you know that music and the outdoors are what makes up his life (besides us, of course). We are hoping that we can spark some joy back into his life after this tough time.
