On the morning of April 2, 2022 Lakia and her family were awaken to here home on fire. Her family were able to make it out of the home unharmed with only the clothes that they had on. On a day where she should be celebrating her birthday she experienced a devastating loss of not only her home but also irreplaceable belongings, her car which was in the garage, and the family cat Storm.

As we are all experiencing hardships at this time we are asking for any monetary assistance that you are able to give in an attempt to lessen the stress of starting over. I am also including sizes of her children in the event you are unable to help financially you may have clothes or shoes that you may donate to her and her family.

All donations will go directly to benefit the family, who will need to begin rebuilding their lives, buying all the basic necessities of life - clothes, shoes, undergarments etc... not to mention finding temporary housing, and then the long process of finding a new permanent residence.
