Custody Battle for my daughters

This is my daughter's story.....
My name is Alina, and I am a mom of two young girls. I’ve been in a brutal custody battle against my ex husband, so he doesn’t take away my daughters and move them out of state. I lost all finances in this uneven match that has been going on for years. I no longer can afford legal representation for the 4 day trial that is coming up in a few months. My daughters’ future is at stake and I want a chance to make it in front of the Judge with an attorney who can present the evidence and bring to light everything my kids and I were put through. I have fought so far and so hard for my children, that I can't imagine losing everything at the very end, by default, just because I can’t afford a lawyer. This is my last hope to have a fighting chance for my daughters, for the truth and justice. 

I was a stay at home mom for years and I devoted myself to raising daughters and my ex’s career (he was a student when we got married, making nothing and after we divorced, his income went up to $300K+) The marriage ended because of the domestic violence he committed in front of my kids. For the first years after the divorce, he was minimally involved.  About 2 years ago he met and married an out of state resident and living in DMV is no longer feasible, and that's when the nightmare began. I faced either moving there voluntarily, to accommodate his new circumstances, or told if I dared fight in court, I'd lose everything and be worn down in every way, so I won’t even make it in front of the Judge. This battle and all circumstances around it took a huge toll on my kids, my health, finances and is ruining our lives. He has money and powerful attorneys. I've learnt that any low methods can be used to discredit a parent  to get ahead in legal games, such as lies in pleadings, using  a teen as a pawn, alienation tactics and more. I am shocked how things can go unpunished and how easy it is to abuse the system.

The income disparity between us is insane. I am up against two medical professionals.  I make around 25k annually. Legal fees and a long drawn-out legal process (filing back and forth; postponed hearings etc) left me with nothing. What the lawyers charge per hour equals my weekly earnings! I can no longer afford legal representation and I desperately need one. I am up against his lawyers and I’ll surely lose the trial if I go on my own. My monthly salary and Child support combined are just enough to pay for the house and the utilities. Currently, I am behind on my bills and am in debt. I have already sold all the furniture and valuables I could to not lose a roof over our heads.  All my bank accounts are now depleted.
I have absolutely no relatives in this world. The only child. My dad died when I was little. I only have my elderly mother who I have been taking care of.  Being an immigrant (came legally 20 years ago), and a stay-at-home mom for years, I don’t have childhood friends here or a big social circle to ask for help.
I don’t qualify for pro-bono as they calculate child support, and I come a just couple of thousand $ short of the guidelines. Free legal clinics do not represent people. The lawyers want a $10,000 retainer and the overall cost can go up to 40k. I have to plea the community to help me as I don’t have any other choices, resources, or collateral. I opened an account and I will use it only for direct payments to the attorney.  If I have any money left over in that account after my legal debts are paid, I will donate to St. Jude or any other organization that helps sick children and our veterans.
