Jake is a great student and an excellent wrestler who's been offered the chance to compete in Estonia and Moscow in April 2016 as part of the World Wrestling Tour team.
Despite being just 13, Jake has won national championships in wrestling and has won the Illinois Greco-Roman State championship for the past 5 years and the Freestyle State championship for the last two.
Being a part of this world team is a great honor, but the trip cost is too great for our family.
The $2500 we hope to raise will cover the cost of the airfare, camps, lodging, food, and competition for the World Wrestling Tour. While on the tour, Jake will have the opportunity to train with some of the premier Olympic coaches and prospects in the world, while also touring both Estonia and Moscow as part of the US delegation. It's a "once in a lifetime" trip.
Jake is a great kid, and works hard as both a competitor and a teammate. Kids on his team call him "coach" because he spends so much time helping others.
We have to begin paying for this trip November 14th. Any help you can provide will be much appreciated!
