Bring Dora Home Fundraiser

This is Dora. She is one year old as of may tenth! My first puppy as an independent person. She was the perfect pick. Six weeks old and on I took care of her and maybe spoiled her a little too. She is so happy and loving and of course always wants to play. Saturday she had a rawhide for a treat from a friend and I had really upset her stomach she started throwing up and became almost unable to move much. I waited it out thru the night and tried to do as my friend a vet tech suggested. The next morning dora was up and moving more but not much more had changed I took her to the vet and turns out she has parvo? Parvo... :( its not something you wanna hear about a puppy you plan on spending at least 10 more years of your life with. I had the option at this point to get her healthier with medicine or put her down all awhile rushing to work on graduation weekend. I decided to have the hospital keep her over night knowing I probably couldn't afford the bill. Minutes later I get a call saying a vet tech can care for her and get her the help she needs. So in a time crunch I chose to sign my beautiful German Shepherd over to yes a good home and someone who can give dora what she needs to get better, but I wish it was easier to be able to afford things like this that come unexpected in our everyday lives. I did not intend on having to make the decision to give a piece of me up but luckily the vet tech was kind enough to allow me (brandy) Dora's owner have her back all the while the amazing humane society Battle Mountain of Hot Springs is going to help me accordingly until I can come up with the funds to care for my bestfriend. Dora is still not where we need her to be tho. She's about at 50% . I pray for her every morning and every night and I know she is struggling but dora is strong. She and I will be in this together until the end of it. I would love to have any other outside support to #bringdorahome whether it be a prayer or a donation it all helps. I again just want to thank Battle Mountain and would teccomend them to anyone. Also from the kindness of my heart from all my friends family and the anonomyous helping dora and I get to this point and even further more. Pray for dora as she is still in the hospital getting treated. Thank you
