Our cousin, Jason Tolete, is a jolly soul with a gentle and caring heart. He’s always smiling, always laughing, and always looking out for the people he loves.
On July 9, 2025, Jason was airlifted to a hospital in Sacramento after a 7 cm mass was found in the frontal lobe of his brain. Fortunately, he was able to get into surgery quickly and the surgeons were able to remove a majority of tumor with minimal effect to his motor function, language, and memory. Unfortunately, Jason’s speech has been greatly impacted.
Two weeks after surgery, the result of the pathology came back showing a Grade 4 Astrocytoma, a very aggressive form of brain cancer. In order to prevent the growth of any residual cancer cells, Jason will begin aggressive treatment— a combination of chemotherapy and radiation.
Through his unwavering strength and continuous positivity, Jason has made daily improvements and significant progress in his recovery from the surgery.
To help minimize the financial burden from medical bills and other unforeseen expenses, and to help Jason and his family focus on his healing, any support you can offer, whether through prayers, positive thoughts, and/or financial contributions would be very much appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness and blessings.
