Vixen's Russian blue cat Ghost needs care

Hi, my name is Krista and I'm a DJ in the queer community in Vancouver, which is where and how I got to meet and work with Vixen.

Vixen Von Flex is a staple in the Vancouver drag, dj and burlesque community, her energy is palpable and she is the fat, Black, trans femme that the world needs more of. You've probably seen her and you definitely love her. Since we first met, Vix has been such a great friend, and when I heard what her family was going through I knew that the community would step up to support them.

Ghost is Vixen and Mike's beautiful Russian blue cat, she's the queen of the castle, shy and cautious, but fiercely loyal. She’s always there when you’re feeling blue or have chicken. Ghost was rushed to the emergency vet last week because she had trouble breathing. They found out that her lungs were full of fluid, which led to her blood getting infected and her liver having issues. Ghost needs immediate treatment and testing for the fluid in her lungs and an echocardiogram to find out the source of why the fluid is in there. Ghost needs to be at the vet right now, but as we know vets are SO expensive. I want to get Ghost to the vet asap, anything helps. Ghost is Vixen's baby and I want to see this family stay together for a lot longer.
