Remembering Vivian Monroe Denmark

On 1/14/23, our sweet baby Vivian Monroe Denmark died in her mother's arms from a severe asthma attack that resulted in cardiac arrest. We never imagined in a million years that a quiet Saturday morning of watching cartoons and doing her kindergarten work would turn out like this. Our sweet Vivian has fought many battles quietly, including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, asthma, and autism, but always persevered and bounced back every time, ready to watch Bluey or play with her siblings, Olivia and Ethan. Despite our best efforts, the Lord had decided it was time for Vivian to come home and rest with angels.

Our souls are mourning without our Vivian, but we know she is no longer in pain and struggling to breathe in class or playing. Vivian is now free to be a happy 5-year-old, fly with the angels, do what she loves - chase rainbows and butterflies, and pick flowers. She was our rainbow baby, our miracle child, and we are going to miss her so much because she taught us so much in her short years; how to love, how to forgive, how to dance in the rain when life gets hard and most importantly the value of family.

We would greatly appreciate donations to help honor her memory and help support our family through this transition with immediate needs, medical expenses, and funeral expenses. We also plan to donate to Mercy Hospital St. Louis, MO- Child Life Services and Ehlers-Danlos/Mast Cell Activation/Autism foundations to help further research.

Our lives are forever changed as we learn to live without our rainbow baby, who brought us so much joy in our darkest hours after my father's death and the miscarriage of our 4th child. However, we know the heavens needed her more, and her memories will continue to be light for us and those who loved her.
