Vivian, a beautiful life taken too soon for reasons we will never understand.

A few short days ago Vivian and I were treasure hunting in the yard, looking for that perfect pinecone to give her family…. only to come across the most amazing rock Vivian has ever seen.

I am Stephanie, I had the honor of caring for Vivian through her last year of life.
I am asking for your help and support to ease the financial burden for the Samlaska family as they are enduring something no one should ever have to go through.

As I sit here, I am unable to pull together the proper words to honor Vivian as she deserves.
I am unable to place words to ease- even the smallest amount of pain Vivian's family is feeling.

From the 1st day Vivian joined our daycare "family" it was very clear that Vivian had the most incredible, vibrant spirit.
Vivian was a gentle soul who loved, love.
Every action Vivian made was for her family. She did everything knowing they would be "so proud", they certainly were.
Nearly every day Vivian was on the hunt for a bag of "treasures" found in the yard. Vivian knew her family would "just love the treasures". Vivian would collect everything from fallen pinecones to random rocks and sticks. Vivian was excited and proud, every day, to show her daddy what she found.
Vivian loved her sister, so much. Marissa was best big sister a girl could as for. The love between these girls was nothing short of amazing and something I wish all siblings had. Marissa was not able to leave for school without giving Vivian several hugs and kisses goodbye. We started a morning routine to ensure Vivian received the proper number of hugs she needed from Marissa to keep her day on the right track.
Vivian had the goofiest "cheese" smile that would make us all giggle. In some of Vivians pictures, she looked almost miserable, after learning who she was, it was her good ol” goofy “cheese” smile that would make us all laugh.

The love and attentiveness I see Vivian’s parents have for their girls was pure and amazing. My heart is breaking in a million pieces for this family who did not deserve this.

Our hearts are aching. The kids will forever miss her friendship and I will miss her cuddles and her random “I love you”.

Vivian IS loved by everyone who had the honor to know her.
Vivian was an incredible bright light who has changed us all, she has changed me.
I will forever love and miss you "little love"

Please help me honor Vivian and her memory as we say our last goodbyes.

Passing along words from Alyssa:
Hug your babies so, so tight. Read them that extra bedtime story. Let them jump on the couch. Hold them a little longer. Be present in every single moment and cherish them, even when you want to pull your hair out.
