Vive_la_meno en route

One cyclist. One goal. Changing the narrative around menopause.

I’m not your typical menopause activist.
I’m a father, a tech executive, a runner and a long-distance cyclist.
And now, I’m riding across Switzerland — one mountain, one stage, one heartbeat at a time — to raise awareness and funds for women living with induced menopause.

Why?

Because my wife, Alejandra, went through it overnight after breast cancer treatment.
She was 40.

Just five months later, her sister Lorena received the same diagnosis.
She was 48.

Neither of them had been warned.
No one told them how sudden or intense the menopause symptoms would be.
No one mentioned the insomnia, the brain fog, the joint pain, the emotional crash.
There was no space for their induced menopause stories.

That’s why Lorena created Vive_la_meno — a grassroots movement led by and for women navigating menopause brought on by cancer treatments or surgery. They’re building visibility for something most people have never even heard of.

Through live events, medically-backed resources, digital tools, and honest conversations, they’re changing the way this story is told.

I may not know what it feels like to go through menopause.
But I’ve seen the strength it takes.
I’ve seen the silence around it.
And I know it’s time to change that.

That’s why I’m pedaling for them — for my wife, my sister-in-law, and for all the women still navigating this in the dark.
Because induced menopause deserves visibility.
Because women deserve better answers.
Because this is what love looks like.
