Vivamus Choir - 21st Anniversary Baroque Concert

Having ridden out the storm of the Covid pandemic, Vivamus have regrouped, refreshed, and are looking forward to their 20th anniversary year with a real sense of energy and optimism. 2022 saw the return of a full concert programme, with the choir presenting first-rate performances of Rachmaninov's All-Night Vigil, Brahms' Requiem, and seasonal programmes for our Summer and Christmas concerts. With audience numbers rising above pre-pandemic levels and the recruitment of a number of excellent new singers, we are now looking to embark on some even more adventurous projects.

The first of these is a large-scale baroque concert with a professional instrumental ensemble. The cost of producing such an ambitious programme is in excess of £7000, covering musician fees, venue hire, and other items such as the sheet music, and this will be funded from ticket sales, member subscriptions, sponsorship, and gifts. As such, we would be grateful if you might consider making a donation to help with the costs of delivering such an amazing concert. For example

£10 will cover the costs of music hire per singer

£40 will cover the costs of rehearsal venues and leaders per singer

£150 will cover the printing of commemorative programmes

£200 will cover the costs of an orchestral player

£350 will cover the costs of the organist

£1250 will cover the cost of the venue hire

We would like to recognise your support in the concert programme, so please indicate your preference for what aspect of the concert you would like to support when you enter your gift. Should the funds raised exceed our target, we will allocate the surplus to our next major concert in November.
