Hi, my name is Renee Gratton. And like more and more people, I'm increasingly apprehensive about all the increasing wasted assets, investments, finite resources, and the dwindling performances failing to meet the dynamic business and people's needs. Yet, with a glass half full, and like evolution biologist Elisabeth Sahtouris, I believe that together ''we are capable of regaining our reverence for life, replacing the drive to conquer with the will to cooperate, and remaking our engineered institutions, including our corporations, into living systems''.
THE VISION:
VITAE is a latin word, meaning or pertaining to life. Which in one word says what we care most about, and what we envision: A world where safe and healthy environments to continuously learn well, and thereby live well are accessible to all. Just imagine what we could achieve in such a world, for our people, planet, prosperity, and seventh generation.
THE MISSION AND VALUES
In the words of evolution biologist Dr Elisabeth Sahtouris, ''we are capable of regaining our reverence for life, of replacing the drive to conquer with the will to cooperate, of remaking our engineered institutions, including our corporations into living systems''. Thus, and as we revere life, the VITAE mission is to cooperate in remaking our engineered institutions into living systems, anchored in the same values that guide the global sustainable development goals.

- Planet and universality to protect our ecosystems for all societies and our children;

Having a vision, mission, values and principle-driven organization is essential to meet individual, group, organization, and community's dynamic changes and growing continued learning, innovation, as well as care or living system demands, including:

VITAE captures community-wide and partner-wide sustainable development goal outcome measures to predict service needs, forge new partnerships, generate new resources, and create unique high-quality impact solutions to:
Co-create a generative multi-stakeholder cooperative (MSC) for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development
Establish the SMARTEST learning, innovation and living lab models and test
SDG 4: Quality Education: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
SDG 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
Provide an integrated platform and ecosystem for
SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
SDG 12 Sustainable Consumption and Production: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.

VITAE is “boundaryless” and able to evolve policy, governance, programs, and processes dynamically to meet changing community outcome needs while co-creating high positive impact solutions with all stakeholders.
As a generative organization, VITAE focuses on services required to generate long-term individual and community successes. And as a multi-stakeholder cooperative (MSC)-aka solidarity, hybrid, or social co-ops, the organization will have several member types, forming a co-op principle-based organization.: Voluntary Open Membership; Democratic Member Control; Cooperation Among Cooperatives; Autonomy and Independence; Member Economic Participation; Concern for the Community; Education and Training.
